Hello all.

I hope this forum gets some traffic. Years ago, we had utahconcealedcarry.com and it was a great place for Utah gun owners to congregate.

I enjoy all aspects of the shooting sports and in recent years have been dabbling more in long range/precision target shooting.

So far it's been slow. I only joined up yesterday bored at work. I thought that they would have more people willing to post from Utah. Really liked the long range shooting even though I wasn't very good at it. Lately health has been stopping me from doing much shooting.

What are you running for your LR? I've got a customer AR in .224 Valkyrie for out to 1k yards

and just started dialing in a Ruger Precision in 300 PRC for ELR

Nice rifles 😎

I shoot a lot of 223 just for fun. My main rifle is a custom build with a 1:7 Krieger that I shoot the 75 and 80 grain VLD type bullets.

Then there is the 6x47 Lapua that I built as an "all around" rifle...target, long range, varmint hunting, PRS setup. I have shot quite a bit of long range with it out to 1400 yards, but have never officially competed in PRS.

A friend has asked me to join him in competing at 1 mile. Another friend offered me his 300 Norma, so I am probably going to shoot that.

I've only shot out as far as 1200 yards .
This is one I build off of a 1980's win m70 in 22-250 that I made into a 25 Creed with a 1-7 twist. You guys shooting out passed 1400 is impressive.
