We got a few meat bulls and lost a mule !

Sounds about right for Utah season! Last year, my buddy tagged out day two while I was still chasing shadows and elk tracks that turned out to be my own boot prints. At least nobody lost a mule that time

Had a cow tag that I filled the evening of the 1st day. Forgot to buy a spike tag for the unit . But then I wouldn't have any room in the freezer even if I did shoot another elk. I still have meat from last years 5 point bull.

A gun buddy got a buck and a cow elk with a 223 this year. The 80 grain ELD-M at 2780 works.
