Family time or hunting prep

How do you balance off-season? Do you go hard on family time since hunting takes you away? Or are you in the garage working on gear year-round? I think we all struggle with this balance..let's discuss how everyone manages it.

The off-season is a mix for me. Weekends are for fully for family, but during the week, I'm tinkering with scopes, cleaning gear and seeing what the local wildlife's up to
