I used "have to work early tomorrow" for years until everyone caught on that I always say that. Now nobody believes me even when it's true. What excuse did you overuse until people stopped buying it?
I used the early morning excuse way too much in my twenties. These days I just say I'm staying in. People got used to it faster than I thought and actually seemed to respect it more.
