One time, I was hunting in a fog. Sunrise happened but I couldn't see past 20 feet, I sat there for three hours hoping it would clear. It didn't, I just wasted a morning. Ever hunt in fog that bad?

Oh yeah, fog turns a hunt into hide-and-seek with yourself. Sometimes it’s magical, other times just a wet nap.

One time I sat in thick fog for two hours, couldn’t even see my own hand stretched out. I ended up just listening mostly and actually heard a buck approaching before I spotted it. I didn’t get a shot but that was the closest I got all season. Fog’s a pain, but it does teach you to pay attention with your ears.
