Someone stole my trail camera

I had it secured to a tree on a public property and the cable was cut and taken by someone. The $200 camera is gone!

That’s rough! Unfortunately, public spots make trail cams a target, sometimes insurance or GPS trackers are worth it.

That's annoying. I lock mine higher up in the tree now and use camo straps to hide them better. It can be hard to keep your gear safe on public land.

Thieves are some of the worst people on earth. Me personally I really don't like camera's on public property. Causes to many problems with people thinking that because they have trail camera's in a spot that nobody else should be in that area. I wouldn't steal one but I have taken a leak in front of a few and all were not on purpose. I'm at least glad they have to be taken down before the hunting season.
