The modification everyone said to do that you ignored

Everyone swears by aftermarket triggers in ARs. I tried one, shot my stock trigger back-to-back and couldn't tell enough difference to justify the cost for my skill level. Maybe competition shooters need that, but for my purposes, mil-spec works fine....not every upgrade is necessary for every shooter.

Everyone said lighten the buffer. I didn’t and my rifle stayed boringly reliable..

I agree. After upgrading to a nicer trigger, I realized I was the problem, not the gun. Stock parts can get you pretty far before you really need to upgrade.
