Ultrasonic cleaner solvent

I just got an ultrasonic cleaner for my gun parts and I've been messing around with different solvents. Some are great at getting rid of carbon and grease but others either dry up super quick or leave a sticky mess. What formulas or products do you guys actually use and trust?

I’d avoid anything that leaves a sticky residue

I'm a Hoppe’s fan for my ultrasonic cleaner. It blasts carbon off but keeps my stuff smooth and there's no strange gunk left behind.

I use water and a splash of Simple Green. It works pretty well.

There have been posts that say you need to be careful of SG on aluminum parts.
